Remarks
When you run multiple Dev Proxy instances (using --as-system-proxy false), use the --pid option to show logs from a specific instance.
If you don't specify --pid and multiple instances are running, Dev Proxy shows logs from the instance registered as the system proxy. If no instance is registered as the system proxy, Dev Proxy shows logs from the most recently started instance. Before the logs, Dev Proxy prints a notice that identifies the selected instance and lists the process IDs of the other running instances:
Multiple Dev Proxy instances are running. Showing logs from PID 4888 (most recently started instance). Other instances: 4837. Use --pid to show logs from a specific instance.
Dev Proxy writes this notice to the standard error stream (stderr), so it doesn't affect log output that you pipe or redirect to a file.
The --since option filters log entries by their full date and time, so it also excludes entries logged on earlier days. If the timestamp doesn't include a time zone offset, Dev Proxy uses the local time zone. Dev Proxy filters each request by the time it started, so a request that started before the specified time isn't shown, even if it finished later. When you combine --since with --follow, Dev Proxy also applies the filter to new log entries.
