Suddenly I am unable to edit any previously saved document with my MS Office Suite 2021 purchased.

Can you open Word?
With it open, can you use File > Open to open a document?
Do you see any error messages?
I can open Word. However, can't edit, copy paste, etc. Message is that I need to activate (purchase) 365.
Itried renewing Office 2021 license and received error code 16

I'm glad that updating Office fixed the issue. Are you saying that you do run Office under macOS? Or did you install an update for Office for Windows?

Error 16 may indicate a license issue. Recently, we saw a lot of errors with Office 2021 under macOS, and this was fixed in a recent update.
Just to be clear, is Windows your operating system?
