    Hi,

See these options. However, getting the exact location is mostly impossible on a PC. With a laptop, the exact location is possible. You may have to set the same manually.

    1. Open Microsoft Edge and visit the website you want to use.
    2. Allow location access: Select the padlock or site information icon beside the address bar, open Permissions for this site, and set Location to Allow.
    3. Enable Windows location services: Go to Settings > Privacy > Location and turn on location services, if available on your Windows 10 edition.
    4. Check your IP address: Websites often determine your region using your public IP address. If your IP address is registered outside Ontario, the website may identify the wrong location. Contact your internet service provider to check your IP geolocation.
    5. Check VPN or proxy settings: Disconnect any VPN or proxy that routes your connection through another region, unless it is specifically configured for Ontario.

I look forward to hearing from you to get the results of the troubleshooting.

To help websites identify that the device is in Ontario, enable location access in both Windows and Microsoft Edge, then allow the site when prompted.

    1. In Windows 10, turn on location access:
      • Go to Settings > Privacy & security > Location.
      • Turn on Location services.
      • Turn on Let apps access your location.
      • Turn on Let desktop apps access your location. This matters because Edge is a desktop app.
    2. In Microsoft Edge, allow sites to request location:
      • Open Edge.
      • Go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Site permissions > All permissions > Location.
      • Turn on Ask before accessing (recommended).
      • This lets websites ask for precise location instead of being blocked.
    3. Allow the specific website:
      • Open the website.
      • When Edge shows the location prompt, select Allow.
      • If the site was previously blocked, select the Lock, Info, or Dangerous icon in the address bar, open Permissions for this site, and set Location to Ask or Allow.
    4. If Bing is the site:
      • On Bing, click Change if the detected location is wrong.
      • Select Allow to let Bing use the current location, or enter Ontario manually.
      • To keep the manual location for future searches, select Remember this location.
    5. If location still appears wrong:
      • Websites can sometimes estimate location from the IP address even when precise location is available.
      • Edge and Windows can provide more precise location when location settings are enabled, but some sites may still rely on IP-based location.
